Current positions available with the OSSC 

 

1. Game Coordinator - (Part-time Evening Position)

Come join our fun and outgoing team of Game Coordinators! Game Coordinators (GC’s) are the eyes and ears of the OSSC in our evening leagues. We are looking enthusiastic, positive, and outgoing people to work in the evenings to set-up equipment, oversee leagues, liaise with members, and ensure OSSC members are having fun!

Must commit for an entire season - be it Sprummer, Fall or Winter. Available shifts are Monday to Friday, anywhere from 6pm to 11pm – pick the night and location you wish to work. Great opportunity to make some extra pocket money, while meeting outgoing sports-oriented people. Required to be a sports geek to work with the OSSC!

2. Evening League Facilitator - (Part-time Evening Position)

If you are positive, solution-oriented, enthusiastic and have an endless supply of energy, this could be the job for you! Come join a result-oriented, fun, dynamic, hard-working team in the sports marketing field. Work harder than you have ever worked before, but play even harder. Wear your running shoes, not a suit, while you help to grow this professional organization. Our Evening League Facilitators help raise awareness about our league and our events, they ensure leagues run efficiently, they oversee the leagues in the evenings, manage Event Coordinators, and help improve member experience.

3. Sport Operations Coordinator - (Full-time, Permanent Position)

We have a rewarding and challenging position open for a talented and motivated individual experienced in sport operations, facility management and league planning. The successful candidate must have initiative, success working independently and with a team, as well as have excitement for working both in-office and out in the field. If you like to take large pieces of information and pull it together like a puzzle using your analytical mind, this job is meant for you!

4. Graphic Design and Social Media Specialist - (Full-time, Permanent Position)

We have a rewarding and challenging position open for a talented and motivated individual who will play a key role in the growth of our National SSC’s online presence and enhancement of the SSC brand. This individual will work closely with the Executive Director to develop innovative media (graphics and video) that drive awareness, consideration, and engagement. This position will require a conceptual thinker, articulate visualizer, and detail-oriented individual with proven experience to develop contemporary physical and digital marketing campaigns across all media platforms.

5. Soccer Referees - (Contractual, Summer Position)

The soccer referees will be the eyes and ears of the OSSC in our refereed soccer leagues (turf soccer 7’s at Wesley Clover Park). They will be required to have an excellent understanding of soccer rules, etiquette and OSSC policies. They will referee games, set-up the field (when needed), liaise with members and provide clarification of OSSC rules and policies.

5. Ultimate Instructors - (Contractual, Summer Position)

The Ultimate instructors will be leading OSSC participants in our instructive “Skills, Drills & Play” program. He/she will be required to have an excellent understanding of the sport, an ability to break down the mechanics of ultimate and have experience with instructing and/or teaching. This person will provide input into each 6-week lesson plan (2 sessions), set-up the field, and lead the sessions.
