You miss 100% of the shots you don't take! So why not join us for Floor Hockey this Sprummer?

This high spirit and zero-contact league gives you an outlet to play hockey in a gym setting (no skating skills required)! If you're looking for a truly awesome cardio experience this Sprummer, then this is the league for you!

*Please note the self-assessed skill rating and team history will be used to pool teams with similar skill levels together (when applicable)* 

Registration deadlines are as follows:

Tuesday-Thursday Leagues: Monday, April 20th @ midnight!

Monday League: Thursday, May 14th @ midnight!

LATE FEES will apply to all registrations received after the deadline.




Sprummer 2020 Details: 

Start/End Dates

Monday: Starts Monday, May 25 and ends Monday, August 31.

Starts Tuesday, May 12 and ends Tuesday, August 25.

Starts Wednesday, May 13 and ends Wednesday, August 26.

Starts Thursday, May 14 and ends Thursday, August 27.

# Of Weeks

Monday: 14 weeks (12 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Tuesday & Thursday: 16 weeks (12 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Wednesday: 15 weeks (13 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Game Times

Rotating start times between 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm.

Game length is 55 minutes.

Note: Every effort is made to equalize the start time and game locations across the league. 

Registration Options & Price

Team registration:

$795.00 + HST.
Tuesday or Thursday: $905.00 + HST.
Wednesday: $845.00 + HST.

After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings once they are posted.   

Individual registration: 

Monday: $120.00 + HST.
Tuesday or Thursday: $130 + HST.
Wednesday: $125.00 + HST.

You will be placed on a roster of individuals by end of day Monday, April 27 (Tuesday-Thursday leagues) and Tuesday, May 19 (Monday league). For ease of communication with our office, teams must select a captain and co-captain on our website to represent your individuals team (click here to learn more about individual teams).

Bye Dates

Canada Day: Wednesday, July 1.

Civic Holiday: Monday, August 3.

Team Package & Equipment Pick-Up

Meet the OSSC office staff while picking up your team newsletter, key tags and sports equipment.  If you have any questions about your league, schedule or sport we’ll be ready to answer them.

If you would like to come by after the extended office hour dates above our office is open Monday to Friday from 10:00am – 5:30pm.  We request captains do their best to make the extended office hours as we have additional staff on hand.

Your team newsletter includes detailed information about the league, and your OSSC key tags provide you with excellent details from our OSSC Partners


  • Captains can nominate another player, a friend, or a family member to pick-up the team newsletter and key tags, on one of the dates listed above.

  • Individual registrants: After Monday, April 27 (Tuesday-Thursday leagues) or Tuesday, May 19 (Monday league), we ask all individual players contact their teammates through our website (you can log in, click on "My Team", then "Player List") to confirm who will be responsible for picking up your equipment & team package on behalf of your team.


  • Floor Hockey Leagues do not require equipment rentals (they are brought and set-up by GCs) however we encourage team captains to pick-up the player newsletter and key tags for your team in advance.

Monday Leagues:

What you need to know about Floor Hockey:

# Of Players On Court

5 players including goalie (minimum 2 males and 2 females)

Suggested Roster/Individuals Roster Size

7-9 players


Equipment including nets, goalie masks, sticks and balls will be provided and set up each week. Soccer style shin pads are strongly encouraged for players.


Teams should bring both light and dark coloured shirts to each game.

Please refer to the sport rules page to view league rules.  It is the responsibility of all players to read and understand the sport specific rules as well as the general rules & club policies.

Score & Spirit Point Reporting

  • Game Scores (account for 75% of total points): Team captains are responsible for reporting the scores after your game by logging into your player profile and clicking on ‘My Team’ tab and selecting ‘Report Score/Spirit Points’.  Teams have a 48 hour window to report scores after the completion of the game.  Please be timely with your score reporting so league standings can remain updated for playoff positioning.
  • Spirit Points (account for 25% of total points): Spirit points are awarded to a team from their opponent after each game to encourage sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and fair play.  For more information and how to properly award spirit points, please see our section ‘All About Spirit Points’.
