Stand Up Paddle (SUP) - Sun + Yoga

This class will shine a whole new light on what you expect in a yoga session!

You can’t beat the great feeling of yoga and the calming effects of being on the water. Grab a board instead of your mat as you enjoy yoga while basking in the sunlight.

Develop improvements in a number of areas: core and limb strength, focus, sense of balance and coordination, as well as body and spatial awareness.

The class has a limited number of spots to ensure an intimate group setting so don't wait long to register.

Under the new Ontario Roadmap to Reopen, some recreational activities are able to resume in a step by step approach. Please reference the new SUP dates below.

Session 1 Registration Deadline is Wednesday, June 9th @ midnight!

Session 2 Registration Deadline is Wednesday, July 21st @ midnight!

COVID-19 Protocol & Safe Return

We are committed to providing the highest levels of safety for our community.  

To ensure participant and staff safety, we have implemented mandatory 'Safe Return to Play Protocol & Guidelines' for all Club Activities.  In order to play with the Ottawa Sport & Social Club and stay in good standing, the following guidelines MUST be followed.  A zero-tolerance policy is in place for those who challenge these decisions.   

To ensure a successful season, please remember to practice safe physical distancing and a positive attitude!

All players are required to read, understand, and adhere to all COVID-19 Guidelines.

Start/End Dates

Session 1: Starts Tuesday, June 15 and ends Tuesday, July 20.

Session 2: Starts Tuesday, July 27 and ends Tuesday, September 14 .

# of Weeks

Session 1: 6 weeks.

Session 2: 8 Weeks.

Class Times

Option 1: 5:45pm - 7:00pm

Option 2: 7:15pm - 8:30pm

All classes run for 75 minutes.

The instructor will provide information in the event of inclement weather. 

Price Session 1: $180.00 + HST.

Session 2: $240.00 + HST.

# of Participants

There will be a maximum of 10 participants to 1 instructor.  

Equipment

All equipment is provided (including life jackets but participants are encouraged to bring their own). Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing that can get wet.

About Your Instructor!

Your amazing SUP instructor is Karine!

Karine is a yoga and SUP yoga instructor from Ottawa. Having fallen in love with the beautiful practice of yoga, it is now her pleasure and passion to share this love with others.

"Combing the beautiful sport of SUP and the practice of yoga while submerged in the open nature allows you to really disconnect from your everyday worries and stressors. Experience the meditative yet energizing flow of syncing breath and movement while moving to the rhythm of nature surrounding you.
