Soccer 6's

 

Come out and enjoy some fresh air, friends, and get fit while playing Soccer 6's this Sprummer season!

ALL soccer teams will again have their very own Kickster 12' x 6' portable soccer net to play with this season (deposit required and mandatory for all teams to receive their net). No matter what location you are playing at, you’ll have the same look & feel at each game! 





If you are interested in playing soccer on a turf field, check out our Turf Soccer 7's (Refereed) league at Wesley Clover Park and our NEW Turf Soccer 7's (Refereed) League at Millennium Sports Park in Orleans!

Registration deadlines are as follows:

Tuesday & Wednesday Leagues: Thursday, May 7th @ midnight!

Monday League: Thursday, May 14th @ midnight!

LATE FEES will apply to all registrations received after the deadline.

 

 

Sprummer 2020 Details: 

Start/End Dates

Monday: Starts Monday, May 25 and ends Monday, August 31.

Tuesday: Starts Tuesday, May 19 and ends Tuesday, September 1.

Wednesday: Starts Wednesday, May 20 and ends Wednesday, September 2.

# of Weeks

Monday: 14 weeks (12 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Tuesday: 16 weeks (14 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Wednesday: 15 weeks (13 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Game Times

Monday & Wednesday: Rotating start times between 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8pm and 9pm.

Tuesday: Rotating start times between 6:30pm, 7:30pm & 9pm.

Wednesday: Rotating start times between 6:30pm, and 8pm.

Game length is 90 minutes.

Note: Every effort is made to equalize the start time and game locations across the league.

Registration Options & Price

Team registration: 

Monday: $825.00 + HST.
Tuesday: $945.00 + HST.
Wednesday: $885.00 + HST.


After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings.   

Individual registration: 

Monday: $115.00 + HST.
Tuesday: $130.00 + HST.
Wednesday: $120.00 + HST.

You will be placed on a roster of individuals by end of day Tuesday, May 12 (Tuesday & Wednesday leagues), or Tuesday, May 19 (Monday league). For ease of communication with our office, teams must select a captain and co-captain on our website to represent your individuals team (click here to learn more about individual teams).

Bye Dates

Canada Day: Wednesday, July 1.

Civic Holiday: Monday, August 3.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Captains can nominate another player, a friend, or a family member to pick-up the pre-paid equipment, team newsletter and key tags, on one of the dates listed above.
  • Individual registrants: After Tuesday, May 12 (Tuesday & Wednesday leagues), or Tuesday, May 19 (Monday league), we ask all individual players contact their teammates through our website (you can log in, click on "My Team", then "Player List") to confirm who will be responsible for picking up your equipment & team package on behalf of your team.

How to request to play with a friend or two

What you need to know about 6-on-6 Soccer:

# of Players on Field

6 players (5 players and 1 keeper, minimum 2 males and 2 females).

Suggested Roster/Individuals Roster Size

7-10 players.

Equipment

Teams are required to bring their own ball, cones, and Kickster Net to every game. This equipment will not be provided on-site. 

 

If you do not want to bring your own, balls, cones and kickster nets are available to rent at the OSSC office. A $150 refundable deposit is required and payable through online registration or at the office with cash, debit or credit card. 

Additional League Information


All teams receive:

  • An OSSC key tag which gives you access to discounts and deals from our amazing sponsors and partners around town! See all the deals!
  • An invitation to the OSSC end of season party. 

At the Wrap Party, winning teams in each pool and division will receive:

  • A personalized team trophy
  • OSSC champion team t-shirts!

 

Rules

Please refer to the sport rules page to view league rules.  It is the responsibility of all players to read and understand the sport specific rules as well as the general rules & club policies.

Score & Spirit Point Reporting

  • Game Scores (account for 75% of total points): Team captains are responsible for reporting the scores after your game by logging into your player profile and clicking on ‘My Team’ tab and selecting ‘Report Score/Spirit Points’.  Teams have a 48 hour window to report scores after the completion of the game.  Please be timely with your score reporting so league standings can remain updated for playoff positioning.
  • Spirit Points (account for 25% of total points): Spirit points are awarded to a team from their opponent after each game to encourage sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and fair play.  For more information and how to properly award spirit points, please see our section ‘All About Spirit Points’.
