All-Sorts-of-Field-Sports + Softball! Mid-Sprummer

Calling all sport fanatics! Wanting to be more active this summer?


Add an extra night of sports to your summer line-up and take advantage of the great weather!


We know how hard it can be to pick just one sport to play, so we're giving you the option to play them all!


Play a rotation of Flag Football, Ultimate 5's, Soccer 6's and for the first time ever Softball! Join this one-of-a-kind mid-season league!



Mid-Summer 2019 Details: 

Start/end dates

Starts Thursday, July 4 and ends on Thursday, August 22.

# of weeks

8 weeks (6 week regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs) 

Estimated game times

Start times ranging between 6:00pm-9:00pm. 


Game length is 90 minutes.

Note: Every effort is made to equalize the start time and game locations across the league.


Team registration: $470 + HST.

After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings once it is posted.   

Individual registration: $65 + HST.

You will be placed on a roster of individuals by end of day Friday, June 28. For ease of communication with our office, teams must select a captain and co-captain on our website to represent your individuals team.

Team package pick-up

Mid-Sprummer 2018 team packages and equipment can be picked up at the OSSC Office – 85 Hinton Ave North. Equipment drop-off from previous seasons can also be done at this time.   

Your team newsletter includes detailed information about the league and your OSSC key tags provide you with excellent deals with our OSSC Partners

*Please select one person per team to pick-up your team package. 


Individual registrants: After June 28, we ask that all individual players contact their teammates through our website (you can log in, click on "My Team", then "Player List") to confirm who will be responsible for picking up your equipment & team package.

Individual team rosters and schedules will be posted online by end of day Friday, June 28.

What you need to know about All-Sorts-of-Field-Sports + Softball:

Dependent on the sport.

Suggested roster/individuals roster size

8-10 players. 


All equipment will be provided for each sport at the game location.

Additional league information

All teams receive:

  • An invitation to the OSSC end of season party

At the Wrap Party, winning teams in each pool and division will receive:

  • A personalized team trophy
  • OSSC champion team t-shirts!

*Please refer to each respective sport league for rules associated with each sport. Teams are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves for the rules for each sport.

As per the league details tab, all equipment will be provided at the game location. 

SPIRIT POINTSAn integral part of all the sports that the Ottawa Sport & Social Club offers. It is based on the primary focus of the OSSC, which is sportsmanship and to have FUN...NOT on competitive and aggressive sport.


Locations include (but not limited to): Ken Steele Park, Joan of Arc Academy, Pinecrest Public School, Gil-O-Julien Park and Terry Fox Athletic Facility.
