Squash "How To" Skills, Drills & Play (Rec) *ON PAUSE*

The "How To" Skills, Drills & Play Squash programming is a perfect opportunity for those wanting to improve their game or get back into this sport.


With some of the best coaching available within the city, this welcoming, no pressure and fun environment provides a great balance between skill development and game play.


In the first 45 minutes, the focus will be on instructional coaching and skill development.  In the second 45 minutes, you will have the opportunity to put your skills into practice with game play. 

If you are a more advanced player, we are running an Intermediate program on Wednesday evenings. 

Squash racket, eyewear and balls are provided on-site! 

Session I: Registration deadline is Thursday, April 30 @ midnight!

Session II: Registration deadline is Thursday, July 9 @ midnight!

LATE FEES will apply to all registrations received after the deadline.

(RECREATIONAL) Session I: Starts Monday, May 4 and ends on Monday, June 29.

Player Package Pick-Up

Sprummer 2020 class packages will be dropped off on your first night of class!

If you are interested in picking up your package prior to the first class, our office is open Monday to Friday from 10:00am – 5:30pm.

What you need to know about Squash "How To" Skills, Drills & Play;

League Format

6:00-6:45pm will include instructional coaching & drills, while 6:45-7:30pm will allow you to implement those newly learned skills in a directed game play portion of the class.

Your game opponent will be skill matched and will rotate each game.

# Of Participants There will be a maximum 8 participants to 1 instructor.

Skill Level

Recreational players welcome!

Equipment

Racquets, protective eyewear and balls will be provided on site.

Rules

Please refer to the sport rules page to view league rules.  It is the responsibility of all players to read and understand the sport specific rules as well as the general rules & club policies.

Score & Spirit Point Reporting

  • Game Scores (account for 75% of total points): Team captains are responsible for reporting the scores after your game by logging into your player profile and clicking on ‘My Team’ tab and selecting ‘Report Score/Spirit Points’.  Teams have a 48 hour window to report scores after the completion of the game.  Please be timely with your score reporting so league standings can remain updated for playoff positioning.
  • Spirit Points (account for 25% of total points): Spirit points are awarded to a team from their opponent after each game to encourage sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and fair play.  For more information and how to properly award spirit points, please see our section ‘All About Spirit Points’.
