About your Instructor



Ciara is a movement and mindfulness educator born and raised in Ottawa. She has been teaching for over 9 years and practicing for 20. Ciara has long had a deep love for mindfulness and meditation as well as vinyasa and yin yoga. Self care is her non-negotiable and it is frequently woven into her offerings. 

She is here to help you heal yourself ~ body, mind and spirit ~ to help remind you how amazing you are meant to feel, to nudge you to believe in yourself, to offer safe space to unwind during these unsettling times while aiming to inspire you to make the changes required to manifest and live the life you desire.

Participant Conduct & Sportsmanship Expectations

All participants are expected to follow SSC sportsmanship expectations. Any unsportsmanlike conduct may result in immediate expulsion from the class. 

The following actions are prohibited:
  • All elements of verbal abuse; harassing, threatening, bullying, or doing anything else to another members that is unwanted.
  • Making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc.

Equipment

Participants are required to have the following:
  • Laptop, tablet, or mobile device
  • Access to the internet
  • Sufficient space to move
  • Yoga mat is highly recommended

 

Rules

It is the responsibility of all participants to read and understand the general rules & club policies.

Location

All classes will be held virtually over Zoom. Participants will receive a link to join the Zoom call in advance. Requirements include: access to an internet connection and Zoom on a computer or an alternative device.
